However, Jotaro dodged and sent out Orquesta the Pidgey, who scrapped with CD. CD had the upper hand but Jotaro caught CD in an Old Ball keychain he was given by Emporio. After seeing the Pokemon preen his feathers almost obsessively after the fight, and seeing how well SP got along with him, Jotaro named the Rowlet after his Uncle's stand. Like his predecessor, SP, CD is very protective of baby Pokemon, in particular Echoes the Cyndaquil and Zahand the Oshawott.
