During a Carvanha swarm in Lavender Town, Carcharhinus met Candela the Litwick, who promised him a whole lot of fun if he followed her directions. Following Candela's directions, Carcharhinus rammed into Orquesta's side and challenged Jotaro to a battle. However, acting on his own instincts, Carcharhinus disobeyed some of Candela's instructions, leading to Jotaro outsmarting and capturing the duo. Carcharhinus is playful but an impulsive Pokemon, preferring to follow his whims and instincts above everything else.
