Hojo was named after a samurai clan because of his strong will and calm but fierce demeanor. However, not having left Sevault Canyon, Hojo doesn't know how to do much else than train against strong Pokemon. He's a little gullible but if you trick him you'd best be wary. A samurai's vengeance is fierce.
