Jotaro encountered The Squad in Vermillion City, when one of the Falinks was hopelessly lost. At first, the Falinks thought he was abandoned, only to find that they were making a present for their friend (an anklet! They all have matching anklets!). The Squad are a fun-loving, adventure-loving gang who want to do everything together. After being helped by them, they all value both Jotaro's and SP's positions as leader and second-in-command.
