Jotaro met Alto on Cape Brink when Sadao the Jigglypuff joined her and Soprano the Popplio to sing for passersby on the Cape. After a beautiful performance, Sadao convinced the duo to join. Although a little shy, Alto went along with Popplio's decision to join Jotaro and his team. Alto often overthinks things and doesn't act on them since she doesn't want to cause conflicts.
